Boya 2.4 GHz Dual Lavalier Microphone Wireless BY-XM6-S1

The BY-XM6-S1 by Boya is a modern, wireless lavalier microphone with built-in battery. You make recordings both with the built-in microphone of the BY-XM6-S1 and with the separately supplied tie-pin microphone. This allows you to clip on the transmitter within seconds if needed or to take your time and clip on the tie-pin microphone. The many included accessories make the BY-XM6-S1 an all-in-one system.

BY-XM6-S1 in practice

Simply unpack the BY-XM6-S1 transmitter and receiver, press the power button and both devices will automatically connect to each other. The system is immediately ready for use. Optionally, attach the windshield to the BY-XM6-S1's built-in microphone. This is only necessary when recording outdoors. By attaching the tie-clip microphone to clothing using the supplied clamp and plop cap, you can neatly conceal the cable and transmitter. Thanks to the included 3.5 mm cables for cameras (TRS) and smartphones (TRRS), the BY-XM6-S1 is universally usable. If your smartphone does not have a 3.5 mm input, use the separately available Lightning or USB-C cable for iPhone, iPad and Android. See optional accessories.

BY-XM6-S1 Special Settings

Right out of the box, the transmitter and receiver are paired together. If you are in a place where several BY-XM6-S1 systems are present, 10 transmitters and 5 receivers work smoothly side by side on the reliable 2.4 GHz frequency. There are two 3.5 mm ports on the receiver. This allows you to record the sound using the line output and simultaneously listen in through headphones. There are also various general settings, such as the sound level and a mute function.

BY-XM6-S1 application

The BY-XM6-S1 allows you to capture high quality voice at any location. Ideal for interviews, presentations and performances. The built-in battery has a lifespan of 6.5 - 7 hours. With the included cables, you can easily charge the batteries through a USB-A port. This gives you enough capacity for every shoot or film day. On the bright OLED screen you can read the settings under all light conditions. In the supplied bag you can easily take the transmitter, receiver and accessories with you. Currently viewing the set with one transmitter and microphone. There is also a set with two transmitters and microphones. These can be found in the optional accessories.
